with TA Matt Parisien
Vancouver BC, Granville Island Vancouver BC
The goal of this 5 day workshop is to inspire cohesive involvement of teenagers empowering the participants with an understanding of the role of the artist in the city, and to demonstrate the artist’s responsibility to contribute positively to civic life. Revolutionary Printmaking is meant to act as the first step of what can be accomplished in community-based collaborative public art here in Vancouver. Students will learn the primary steps of screen printing from designing a poster through to printing it.
