Painting pet portraits brings me into a shared heart space, and the love of each message is illustrated on the canvas. 

What a learning curve

After studying art, exhibiting internationally and teaching extensively for thirteen years, I choose to stop. In 2005 I experienced a life changing redirection (NDE) that resulted in me studying yoga, and practicing tarot and astrology professionally. To my delight and surprise, my art practice reemerged in 2023.. so I started painting. 

Good things are happening

Each time I open my heart and mind and deeply connect with an animal, I learn about life. In stillness there is wisdom, through nature we are held in unconditional love. 

My Process

Portrait Painting

Each portrait emerges from its own unique timing. I might sit with an animal's photo for weeks before I start drawing them. The colour, size and image are all informed by my connection to your beloved animal. 

I like spending my mornings looking into their eyes and listening to their stories. It takes an adjustment to move into "animal time". My painting process is elevated by listening and feeling to nature. I am always curious and humbled to feel what emerges in collaboration with each animal. 

Original Painting

$325 + shipping cost additional 

  • Acrylic paint on 8"x8" canvas wood frame
  • 1/2" deep  
  • Currently 3-4 week turnaround 
  • Included with each commission is a short message channeled from your animal

Original Drawing

$45 + free regular postal service

  • Ink and watercolour
  • 6"x9" on watercolour paper
  • Currently 7-10 day turnaround

Prices in Canadian Dollars. Payment can be made by e-transfer within in Canada. For international clients please use PayPal.
